| Mark
has over 12 years experience as a print designer, illustrator
and computer graphics specialist. His strengths include
combining typographical excellence with forceful concepts
and execution to fit the print medium perfectly.
“There should always be a unity between typography
and image – understanding visual communication through
type is fundamental when designing anything. Type and image
should need no explanation.”
Mark has been, and is, the lead designer on many Government
accounts, including the NHS, Department of Health, Home
Office and the Environment Agency, and private sector projects
for De La Rue, Lucent Technologies and Wiggins Teape to
name but a few.
Mark’s favourite holiday destination is India. “The
whole place is alive with colour and life. Your senses are
assailed from the time you get off the plane. Everything
is unfamiliar. If you immerse yourself in it, you find it
completely invigorating.”
